How it works

1A new brief at midnightEvery day at midnight UK time there's a fresh, quirky drawing prompt. Read it free, no account needed.
2Draw it your wayPencil, pen, paint or pixels. Take the Quick, Full or Stretch version, depending on how much time and nerve you have.
3Post it and see everyone's takeShare a photo or scan, and see how everyone else saw the same brief. Rough is fine. Rough is the point.

Too good for the fridge? Or not good enough?

Doesn’t matter. Some drawings here have outgrown the fridge door, and some never made it there. Draw a little every day, keep a streak, collect magnets, and come back tomorrow for something new. It’s a friendly place for a daily sketching habit, whether you use a sketchbook, a tablet or the back of an envelope.
